This three-terminal switch is located behind the front panel of your microwave. When the door closes it will make contact with the door hook and allow the microwave to turn on. This part is mostly black in color and is about 1.5 inches with metal terminals. You might need to replace this part if your microwave is not heating properly, will not turn on or if it runs for a few seconds but turns off. This door switch is a genuine OEM part. It is recommended to disconnect the power to your microwave before you start your repair.

The door interlock switch kit contains 2 switches - 15 Amp - 125/250 Volt with 3/16-inch terminals. The switches are used to sense when the microwave door is open or closed. If your microwave will not start, or will not turn on, you may need to replace these switches. This is a genuine OEM kit. Please remember to disconnect the power to your microwave before starting the repair. PLEASE NOTE: The door interlock switch kit includes 2 single pole, double throw (SPDT) micro switches.
