The blower wheel and housing assembly attaches to the drive motor shaft, blows the air through the drum and out through the exhaust. If the dryer is taking too long to dry, is noisy, or there is no air flow during operation, then the blower wheel could be damaged or broken and will need to be replaced. This part is white in color and made of plastic. This blower wheel and housing assembly will fit 471 series Kenmore eclectic or gas dryers. Will also fit some Frigidaire, Crosley, Gibson and White Westinghouse gas or electric dryers. Please check your model number. Please be sure to disconnect the power to your dryer before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

The dryer drum support roller with clip helps hold the drum in place while the drum rotates on the support wheels. Over time the bearings can wear out, causing them to make a squeaking sound while the dryer drum turns. The manufacturer recommends replacing both rollers at the same time.
