It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load to clear the air flow through the lint filter. The dryer drum support roller with clip helps hold the drum in place while the drum rotates on the support wheels. Over time the bearings can wear out, causing them to make a squeaking sound while the dryer drum turns. The manufacturer recommends replacing both rollers at the same time.
