This part is used to connect the wire harness to the surface burner element. If your element will not heat at all, or if it is not heating properly, it is likely an issue with the terminal block and it will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. This 8” plug in style surface burner element provides heat to the cooking surface of your range. The burner element has looped terminal ends, 2600 watts, and a 5-turn. If the burner element is not heating it could be the element or the burner switch. You can use a multimeter to test the element or the switch for continuity. This is a genuine OEM part; the manufacturer recommends replacing the burner receptacle when you replace the surface burner element.
