This is an OEM part, sourced directly from the manufacturer. The cutter grid is located within the main unit of the ice maker and contains thin, heated wires that slice the ice into cubes that are then deposited in the ice bin. If the cutter grid is broken, ice can back up within the ice maker. This part is sold as a complete assembly and is used with freestanding ice makers.

The recirculation pump helps circulate the water over the evaporator to form ice that will be cut into cubes for standalone ice makers. If your ice maker is no longer making ice or there is no water flowing over the plate, you may need to replace the pump. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power before starting your repair.

The wire kit attaches to the cutter grid frame. The wire is used to cut the ice slab into cubes. There is approximately 10 feet of wire. Note: 2 kits are needed to replace both directions. This is a genuine OEM kit. It is recommended to disconnect power to the appliance before starting the repair.

The temperature sensor is in the water pump area of the ice cube maker. This part helps to determine the water level in the water reservoir. Once the water reaches a certain level the temperature sensor will send a signal to the controls to fill the reservoir. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect the power to the ice cube maker before starting your repair.

If your standalone ice maker is making too much ice, not enough ice, or none, you may need to replace the bin thermostat. This part will sense how much ice is in the bin and decide if it should produce more or stop the production of ice. You can test the thermostat for continuity with an ohm meter. This part is made of metal and plastic and is white in color. This is a genuine OEM part.
