The oven light socket assembly with lens provides power to the light bulb while holding the bulb in place. If the light socket shorted out and the oven light is no longer coming on, you may need to replace the light socket. This part measures approximately 4.25” L x 3” w. This is the socket and lens only; light bulb is not included must be ordered separately. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure to disconnect the power to the oven before starting the repair.

This part is the oven bulb lens cover. It is made of glass and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. The lens cover protects the light bulb from being damaged. The main reason to replace the light lens cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. Be sure that the lens cover is cool to the touch before you begin this repair. To remove the lens cover, simply turn it counter clockwise until you can remove it. Replace it with a new cover and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
