This 40 watt, 130-volt clear appliance light bulb is for your microwave. The light bulb is used on the inside of your microwave to provide light when the door is open or below the microwave to provide light for the cooking area. The secondary door switch, also known as a micro switch, works in conjunction with your microwave by monitoring the door latch position and sending communication to the electronic control board to let it know if the latch is open or closed. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. You can test the switch for continuity. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W. Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. Please disconnect power to the microwave before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

The microwave light lens covers and protects the light bulb from being damaged. The main reason you would need to replace the light lens cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. Be sure that the lens cover is cool to the touch before you begin this repair. The light lens cover is made of glass and is approximately 6 3/8” x 2 3/8”. This is an OEM part sourced from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually.

This turntable motor coupler connects the turntable motor to the turntable tray to activate the tray. If your tray does not consistently turn or does not turn at all, replace this part. This part measures 1 1/2" in diameter. Remember to unplug your microwave from the power source as a safety precaution. The door interlock switch (normally closed) works in conjunction with your microwave operation. The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open. If your microwave won’t turn on or there is no heat you may need to replace the switch. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W, 250 volts, is black in color with a red dot and is sold individually.
