The temperature sensor, also known as an oven probe, detects the temperature within the oven cavity. This temperature sensor is a genuine OEM part. If your oven is too hot, not heating evenly, has little to no heat when baking, or is flashing F3/F4 error messages on your control board, you may need to replace the temperature sensor. Please make sure to disconnect the power to your range before starting your repair.

The meat probe sensor is used to cook more accurately by checking the internal temperature of the meat to ensure proper temperature is reached during cooking. If the meat probe sensor shorts out it can cause the wrong information to the control board and the sensor will need to be replaced. This part is brown in color and approximately 25 inches. The large surface element is installed under the cooktop and heats up the area directly above it. It is approximately 10 inches in diameter and is 1200/2500 watts.
