Light bulb - 120v 25w (freezer light bulb)

This 25-watt, 120-volt light bulb is 2.5 inches long. It has a small, screw-in base and it is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Capacitor (sub 09100156)

The run capacitor is attached to the compressor. This part helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. If your refrigerator is too warm, will not start, or your freezer section is too warm, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

This screw is half an inch long. It is made of metal and is intended for use with ranges, refrigerators, and washing machines.

Temperature control thermostat (thermostat)

The temperature control thermostat maintains the proper temperature in your refrigerator. When the refrigerator reaches the desired temperature, this part interrupts the flow of electricity to the compressor which stops the cooling process. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Compressor kit (refrigerator compressor)

This is the mechanics (motor/engine) of the cooling system. It kicks in whenever the thermostat demands cooling. ***NOTE: This part needs to be installed by a trained professional in appliance repair. It requires special tools and knowledge to do so.

Door gasket (gasket)

The freezer gasket provides an air tight seal between the lid and the freezer, to keep warm air from entering. If your freezer is too warm, there is frost build up, or the gasket is torn, you may need to replace the freezer gasket because the freezer will need to work harder to cool down.
