Drive belt (dryer drive belt. This is the most common GE/Hotpoint dryer belt. 87" long and 1/4" wide. 4 ridges.The drive belt dries out over time.)

This belt has a length of 87 inches, width of 1/4”, flat, with 4 ridges.

Rotary start switch

This part is used to start the dryer once you have selected a setting on the timer.

Knob and clip (washer/dryer selector knob, white.)

This knob accepts a D-shaped shaft.

Drum belt (dryer drum belt)

Used to turn the drum.

Rear bearing (rear bearing cup)

Bearing Only. This part helps your appliance run as quietly as possible.

Drum glide (glide-drum)

Sold individually. There are some dryers that require 2 per dryer. They attach to the outer-most sides of the bearing.

Rear bearing kit

This kit comes with the rear bearing, shaft support, lubricant and other items required for the installation.

Upper felt seal with adhesive

Thermal limiter (dryer thermal fuse)

This part is found in the same location as the Terminal Block at the back of the Dryer. It acts as a safety device which prevents your appliance from overheating.

Control thermostat (thermostat, l140-10f)

This thermostat controls the internal drying temperature. Cycling themostats continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature. This particular cycling thermostat has a limit of 140 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 10 degrees. Meaning that with this thermostat, the heating element will cut out at 140 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 10 degrees.
