Ice maker (im crescent)

This ice maker assembly is used to make ice in your refrigerator. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze until ice cubes are formed. Once the water has been frozen the cubes will be ejected from the mold into the ice bucket. The ice maker will continue the process until the ice bucket has reached the limit. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. This kit includes the fill cup, 4-pin wire harness adapter, and a tube. Disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part.

Single outlet valve kit (water valve with guard)

When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making/dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall and make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. As per the manufacturer, this valve has a new quick connection. You must cut the retaining nut off your current plastic water line, and gently push it into the new valve.

Evaporator/condensor fan grommet (grommet cond fan)

The evaporator fan motor grommet provides a cushion between the fan motor and the motor mounting bracket. This part is made of black plastic and is approximately one inch in diameter. If your grommet is torn or damaged and you are getting noise from the fan motor, you may need to replace it. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Light switch (refrigerator light switch. This switch activates the refrigerator light when the door is open. It also prevents the dispenser from working if the door)

The refrigerator light switch turns the interior light off and on when you open or close the refrigerator door. The light switch also prevents the front dispenser from working if the refrigerator door is opened. If the switch has shorted out or the light bulb is not turning on when the door is open, you may need to replace the switch. This switch is white in color and measures approximately 1 1/2” L x 1 1/4” W. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

Light bulb - 40w (lamp 40w 120v)

This 40-Watt light bulb is sold individually and is a genuine OEM replacement option for your home appliances. It is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures, so this bulb is compatible with a variety of appliance types including refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, and dryers. It features a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, which allows you to easily unscrew the burnt-out light and twist the new bulb into place. Depending on your appliance, there may be a guard or cover protecting the lightbulb, in which case you may require additional tools to remove the cover. We recommend disconnecting the power supply to your appliance before changing the lightbulb.

Compression ring (ring compression)

The compression ring works for a variety of fans throughout your refrigerator, the evaporator fan or condenser fan. If you notice your refrigerator or freezer is too warm, or there is an unusual sound during operation you may need to replace the compression ring. This part is made of metal, measures approximately 0.25” L x 0.5” in diameter, and is sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part. Run capacitor (refrigerator run capacitor 12 uf. If this run capacitor is defective, the refrigerator will not run.)

The run capacitor is attached to the compressor and is 12 UF. It helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. If your refrigerator is too warm, will not start, or your freezer section is too warm, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. Defrost timer - 120v 60hz (control defrost)

The defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. This 120V 60Hz defrost timer will cycle for twenty-five minutes after every six hours of run time. The timer itself is made of plastic, and its terminals are bent, the leads are internal, and the label is orange. If your refrigerator is too warm, freezer section is too warm, freezer is not defrosting, or leaking, you may need to replace the defrost timer. This is a genuine OEM part. Condenser fans blade assembly (blade cond fan asm)

The condenser fan blade assembly helps to regulate the temperature in your refrigerator or freezer. This fan assembly has 4 blades, but other fans may have 3 blades, so be sure to check the number of blades on your fan. The fan blade is made of white plastic and is approximately 6 inches in diameter. If your freezer section is too warm, or you notice a strange noise coming from your refrigerator when it is running, you may need to replace the condenser fan blade assembly. This part is sold individually.

Package of 12 screws (scr 8-18 ab rndw 5/8 ss)

This is a package of twelve Phillips-head screws. They can be used as replacement screws in refrigerators, ice makers, or freezers. Be sure to check that your appliance model is compatible with these screws. The screws are approximately ¾ of an inch in length.

Ice bucket - white (ice bucket)

The ice container is used to store the ice cubes that have been released from the ice maker in the freezer section until ready to be used. If the container becomes cracked or lost, you will need to replace the container. The container is white in color, made of plastic and measures approximately 12”L x 10”W. This is a genuine OEM part.

Door hinge nylon washer (hinge washer)

This is the replacement hinge washer for your refrigerator. The hinge washer is mounted on the top of the door hinge pin, and supports the refrigerator door, allowing it to open and close easily. The main reason you would need to replace the hinge washer is if it is worn out, causing the refrigerator door to be more difficult to open and close. You may also hear an unpleasant noise when you open your refrigerator door. The washer is a little less than an inch in diameter and is sold individually. This is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Fresh food door gasket (gasket door ff)

This white fresh food door gasket is used to seal the refrigerator door when closed to keep the cool air inside and the room air out.
