Compactor bags - package of 12 (trash bag, plastic (15 pk))

The white plastic compactor bags are used to hold the trash until it is ready for disposal. The bags come in a pack of 15. This is a genuine OEM part.

Frame roller assembly

Drive motor and gear kit (drive motor kit, trash compactor)

The drive motor and gear kit operate the trash compactor press which helps compact the trash. When in use, the drive motor will activate the press, by turning the gears and a chain, that will lower into the trash, compact it and then raise back up. If your compactor is noisy or not compacting you may need to replace the motor. This kit includes the motor, drive gear, jumper harness, and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting the repair.

Power nut asm (power nut assembly)

The power nut is intended for use with trash compactors. The power nut attaches to the side of the ram where it is threaded. When the power screw rotates, it feeds through the power nut which pulls the ram down to compress the trash. If your trash compactor does not stop at the end of the compacting cycle or the ram gets stuck, you may need to replace this part. The power nut is made from plastic and measures approximately 3” long. Please remember to disconnect the power to the trash compactor before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Drive gear - white (plastic drive geat)

This part is located at the bottom of your compactor and helps the drive motor power the compacting ram. If the drive gear is broken or damaged, we suggest replacing it right away to avoid causing any more issues with your trash compactor. The drive gear is white in color and made from plastic.

Return switch (top limit switch assembly)

This part reverses the motor direction when the trach compactor has reached the top of the drawer. If the cycle is not being completed properly, shut off, or makes loud noises, the top limit directional switch may need to be tested by using a multimeter to test the continuity. If there is no electrical path in the switch, it will need to be replaced.
