Light bulb - 40w 130v (microwave light bulb, small base, 40-watt.)

This 40 watt, 130-volt clear appliance light bulb is for your microwave. The light bulb is used on the inside of your microwave to provide light when the door is open or below the microwave to provide light for the cooking area. It is clear in color and has a small screw-in base. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Light socket - 250v 75w (microwave light socket.)

This 250-volt 75 watt light socket is located inside the microwave to provide power to the light while holding the light bulb in place. If the light bulb is not working, the switch might have failed and will need to be replaced. The light bulb is not included and must be ordered separately. The socket is black in color and measures a little over 2” long. Please remember to disconnect power to the microwave before starting the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Cooking tray (microwave turntable tray. Glass. 12.5 inches in diameter.)

This glass cooking tray provides a levelled cooking surface and rotates in your microwave to ensure even cooking temperatures once the door is closed and the timer has been set. If your tray is broken or cracked it is recommended to replace it. This tray measures 12.5-inch in diameter, which might be smaller than the original tray, is made from glass and is a genuine OEM part. No tools are required for this repair.

Secondary door switch (secondary microwave door switch.)

The secondary door switch, also known as a micro switch, works in conjunction with your microwave by monitoring the door latch position and sending communication to the electronic control board to let it know if the latch is open or closed. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. You can test the switch for continuity. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W. Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. Please disconnect power to the microwave before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Glass light lens (microwave glass light lens.)

The microwave light lens covers and protects the light bulb from being damaged. The main reason you would need to replace the light lens cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. Be sure that the lens cover is cool to the touch before you begin this repair. The light lens cover is made of glass and is approximately 6 3/8” x 2 3/8”. This is an OEM part sourced from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually.

Fuse (line fuse)

The line fuse, also known as a ceramic fuse, is used to protect your microwave when there is a power serge by shutting down the microwave to avoid damage. If your microwave has no heat, won’t turn on, or the touch pad is not working properly, you may need to replace the fuse. This part measures approximately 1.25” long and is sold individually. Please remember to disconnect power to the microwave before starting the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Monitor door switch (door switch, monitor (normally closed))

The door interlock switch (normally closed) works in conjunction with your microwave operation. The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open. If your microwave won’t turn on or there is no heat you may need to replace the switch. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W, 250 volts, is black in color with a red dot and is sold individually. Grease filter (ge and Hotpoint microwave oven grease and air filter. 13 3/8 inches by 6 inches.)

This metallic vent hood filter collects grease particles in the air from cooking. Sold individually.

Flat cab mounting bolt (cabinet mounting bolt. Holds microwave from the top, through the upper cabinet.)

The flat cab mounting bolt is used to secure your microwave to your cabinet. The bolt is approximately 4 inches long. The main reason you would need to replace this bolt is if the old bolt is stripped or missing, and the microwave will not stay secure in the cabinet. This is a genuine OEM part and it is sold individually.
