Capacitor (run capacitor)

The run capacitor is attached to the compressor. This part helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. If your refrigerator is too warm, will not start, or your freezer section is too warm, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

End cap trim piece (plug-trim)

The end cap trim piece slides into the door trim to help hold the door shelf stay in place. When installing the new end cap trim piece, make sure the two small taps are facing up. This part can be used for the left or right side. The end cap trim piece is white in color, made of plastic and almost 2” long. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Ice maker water fill tube kit (fitting, water tube)

The ice maker fill tube is used to supply water to the ice maker during the fill cycle and is located in the back wall of your refrigerator/freezer. The fill tube is 10-inches long and includes a compression nut and a tube insert. If the fill tube is cracked or leaking water you will need to replace it. This part is white in color, made of plastic, and is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and shut off the water supply before starting your repair.

Refrigerator door switch (rocker arm switch)

Door switch turns the light off when you close the door.

End cap trim - white (plug-trim)

This part is the replacement end cap trim for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 1 inch wide, 1 inch long, and ½ inch thick. This part can also be known as the shelf support retainer as it holds the shelf support in place. If the end cap trim is damaged, the shelf support may not remain in place and you will not be able to store items in your refrigerator door. To replace the end cap trim, carefully disconnect it from both the refrigerator door and the shelf support. Then, snap the new end cap trim into the shelf support and then to the door. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part.

Fresh food door gasket (door gasket, magnetic)

This white door gasket is used to seal the fridge door when closed.

Metallic screw that is less than an inch long. Does not include the plastic washer.

This door gasket is used to seal the freezer door when closed.

Defrost timer kit (timer, defrost)

This device acts like a clock. It continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater.

Clip-on bimetal defrost thermostat with leads (defrost bimetal)

This part acts as a safety device against over-heating in case of mechanical failure.

Light socket kit (socket, light)

The bulb is sold separately.

Hinge bracket (stop, door)

This part is used to support the hinge.

Door hinge nylon washer (washer-nylon)
