Refrigerator ice maker assembly (mold-body assy, with heater)

The ice maker assembly is used to produce ice for your refrigerator. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze until ice cubes are formed. Once the water has been frozen the cubes will be ejected from the mold in to the ice bucket. The ice maker will continue the process until the ice bucket has reached the limit. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. This kit includes the fill cup, 4 pin wire harness adapter and tube. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part.

Replacement ice maker (motor - ice maker)

This ice maker is the replacement heat-release unit only. This kit comes with four round female connectors at the end of the wire harness. It also comes with the adaptor that converts the harness to three round female and one round male connectors. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Water inlet valve (valve - water, 115v)

When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making or dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair.

Drive gear (gear)

This icemaker drive gear works in conjunction with the ejector blades. The gear helps rotate the ejector arm to push the ice from the ice maker in to the ice bin. If your ice maker is not dispensing ice you may need to replace this part. The gear is little over an inch in diameter, white, and made of plastic. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Ice stripper

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice from falling back into the mold. Once removed from the mold, the ice is then deposited into the ice bucket, ready to be dispensed. If your ice maker is not making any ice you may need to replace this part. The ice stripper is white in color and is approximately 9-inch long. It is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Icemaker thermal cut-off (thermal cutoff assy)

The ice maker thermal cut off acts as a safety mechanism that will shut the ice maker off if the mold heater gets too hot. This part cannot be re-set and must be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Micro switch (switch, (3))

This part aids in the dispensing of ice or water.

Water fill tube (tube - fill)

This water fill tube supplies water to the icemaker.

Shutoff arm spring (spring, shut-off arm)

Ice maker shut-off lever cam (cam)

The ice maker shut-off lever cam works in conjunction with your ice maker inside your refrigerator. The cam attaches to the drive gear inside the motor assembly. This part is white in color, made of plastic and measures approximately 2” long. Please remember to disconnect power and water to the refrigerator before starting the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Thermostat (thermostat assy, ice maker)

The cycling thermostat controls the activation of the icemaker ejection cycle.
