This part helps prevent damage to adjacent walls, cabinets, and the refrigerator door. They allow the door to open wide enough for normal pan removal but not wide enough to hit adjacent walls or cabinets.
Follow the directions in the owner's manual to install the refrigerator shelf in your refrigerator. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
