Handle screw (LG handle stopper)

This handle screw, also known as a mounting bolt, is a mounting screw to help secure the door handle to your refrigerator door. If your handle is loose, you may just need to tighten the screw. If your screw is missing or broken, it may need to be replaced. There are multiple handle screws on your fridge, please consider ordering extra as they commonly wear at the same rate. This is about 1 inch long and metallic in color.

Door basket assembly (LG appliance door basket)

Refrigerator door bin AAP73252202 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Kenmore Elite bottom-freezer refrigerators in the following series: 7957204, 7957205, 7957209, 7957218, 7957248, 7957311, 7957315, 7957401, 7957402, 7957404, 7957409, 7957504, 7957998 and 7957999. Also fits some LG bottom-freezer refrigerators in series LFX25991, LFX31925, LFX31935, LFX33975 and LMX31985. This door bin has an irregular shape?it's 13-1/2 inches wide, 9-1/2 inches deep on the left, 10-1/8 inches deep on the right and 4-1/4 inches tall. To install door bin AAP73252202, slide it into the door just above desired location and push down on the bin until it snaps into place.

Micro switch (switch)

The microwave primary door switch, also known as a micro switch, is normally open. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, then the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. The micro switch is in the latch board section and monitors the position of the door. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W NOTE: Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged. It is suggested to have a service technician install the part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please disconnect the power to the microwave before beginning the repair.

Refrigerator water filter (water filter)

This refrigerator water filter replacement is for 2010 LG refrigerators that have either forward French doors or are the four-door dispensing models. This filter is designed to minimize impurities that can cause ill-tasting water or an unpleasant smell. It reduces sediment, dirt, rust, limescale, sand, and many other contaminants that can be harmful to your health and the life of your appliance. This filter should be replaced every 6 months or 200 gallons to ensure top quality performance. To remove your unwanted filter, press the push button to open the filter cover (water may spill from the hole), pull out the old cartridge in a downward motion. To install the new filter, make it so the ears are in the horizontal position and push the new cartridge into the housing until it stops. Push the filter upward until it is secure. Click the cover to lock it in place. Run water for approximately 5 minutes to prep the filter for use, and discard water. Reset the “filter reset” button if applicable.

Plastic tube - 5/16 inch (plastic tube)

The 5/16” plastic water tubing attaches to the water inlet valve and goes into the refrigerator. The tubing supplies water to the water dispenser and the ice maker. If the tubing becomes damaged or cracked, it can cause water to leak out onto the floor and the water tubing will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting the repair.

Refrigerator Air Filters are a key component for neutralizing odors and ensuring a fresh stream of air into your refrigerator. Swapping your old filter out for a fresh one isn’t difficult and should take less than five minutes. This OEM filter measures approximately 3 inches (length) x 3 inches (height) x 5 inches (Depth). Air filters should be changed every 6 months depending on usage.

Water inlet valve assembly

This includes the primary and secondary valves along with the wire harness.

Air duct bracket (microwave exhaust damper bracket)

This bracket holds the metal or plastic flapper that closes off the exhaust duct when the fan is not running and opens when the fan turns on. If the exhaust fan on your microwave does not appear to be working, the problem may be with the damper assembly. If the damper does not open and close easily, check for any damage to the bracket, and replace if it is damaged or faulty. This genuine OEM exhaust damper measures approximately 12 inches long by 5 inches wide.

Micro switch (switch)

The interlock door switch, also known as a micro switch, will prevent the microwave from operating if the door is open. This switch has been updated by the manufacturer. It may appear different in appearance but will still function as the original part. This part has a green button and measures approximately a little over an inch long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.

Damper (microwave vent damper door)

The vent damper is used to close off the exhaust duct when the fan is not running, to prevent outside air from entering the microwave. When the fan turns on it allows air to vent away from the microwave. The damper measures approximately 10-inch long by 3-inchwide and is a genuine OEM part.

Door holder

This is a manufacturer-approved refrigerator door closure for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and measures approximately 3 inches by 2 inches. If your old closure is damaged, your refrigerator door may not open and shut properly, and therefore it should be replaced.

Push button switch

This is a genuine replacement switch. It is a push button style switch that is designed for use in your refrigerator. When the door of your appliance is opened the switch is released, and the light comes on. When you close the door the switch is pressed in, and the light turns off. You may need a putty knife to remove your old switch.
