Icemaker control assembly (refrigerator icemaker control module and motor assembly. Located under the white cover of icemaker and controls ice ejector bar, heater and water inle)

This part is used to help tell the icemaker what to do - it turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. It also controls the heater, the water inlet valve, the cube size, and cube ejection. The control assembly is located under the white cover of the ice maker. If the ice maker is making too much ice or not making ice at all, you may need to replace the control assembly. The motor is not sold separately. This is a genuine OEM part. Please make sure you disconnect power to the refrigerator before starting your repair.

Micro switch (microwave door switch. This switch is normally open. When the microwave door is shut, the door switches close to send power to the microwave.)

The microwave primary door switch, also known as a micro switch, is normally open. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, then the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. The micro switch is in the latch board section and monitors the position of the door. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W NOTE: Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged. It is suggested to have a service technician install the part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please disconnect the power to the microwave before beginning the repair.

Touch-up paint - white (white touch-up paint)

This 18 ml bottle of white appliance touch-up paint is used to cover scratches or marks on your appliance. The white touch-up paint can be used on refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, clothes dryers, and freezers. This is a genuine OEM part and includes a brush applicator. Please remember to wear gloves to protect your hands when applying this paint.

Single outlet water valve kit (inlet valve)

When energized, the water inlet valve will release water from the supply line into the ice mold and the water dispenser in the refrigerator. If the ice maker is not making/dispensing ice, not dispensing water, or leaking, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is in the back section of your refrigerator and will need to be pulled out from the wall. Make sure to disconnect both the water and power supply before starting your repair. The manufacturer has redesigned the valve; it may appear different than the original. The updated valve has a new quick connection. To install the updated valve, cut the retaining nut off the existing water line and gently push into the new valve. This is a genuine OEM part. Water fill cup and bearing (fill cup)

The ice maker fill cup and bearing dispenses the water into the ice mold during the fill cycle. If your ice maker is not making ice, is leaking, or the cup or bearing is cracked, you will need to replace this part. This part is three inches long, white in color, and is made of plastic. It is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply to your refrigerator before starting the repair.

Ice mold

This ice cube mold and heater assembly has a flake resistant surface with separations that mold eight ice crescents and is used with modular style icemakers on some refrigerators. The mold heater is an electrical device that thaws the ice quickly, so it can be released from the icemaker mold. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. Please remember to disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair.

Spray paint - 12 oz. - white (spray paint, white, 12 ounces)

Spray paint is designed to help cover up any scratches or chips on your appliances. This spray pant is white in color and comes in a 12 oz aerosol can. Please make sure to clean the area that requires touch up to avoid any old paint or dirt getting into the fresh paint. When using the spray paint it is recommended to wear gloves and a protective mask. Make sure to shake the can well before using and to spray a few inches away from the surface for best results. Please wait until the paint is dried before using the appliance. This is a genuine OEM part.

Cycling thermostat (thermostat)

The ice maker thermostat, also known as bi-metal device, regulates and controls the activation of the icemaker ejection cycle. The thermostat lets the ice maker know when it is cold enough to produce ice. If your ice maker is not making ice or not dispensing ice, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part and comes with two retaining clips. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Ice container and auger assembly (refrigerator ice bucket. This ice bucket stores ice and uses an auger to push the ice through the dispenser. If the auger is damaged, the ice dispense)

This part may come with a plastic or metal auger depending on the factory. It will work with your appliance if found with the model number. (Make sure you install properly at back of ice container, because it must be engaged for the crushed ice feature to work)

Micro switch (switch,micro)

The interlock door switch, also known as a micro switch, will prevent the microwave from operating if the door is open. This switch has been updated by the manufacturer. It may appear different in appearance but will still function as the original part. This part has a green button and measures approximately a little over an inch long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.

Ice stripper (ice stripper for icemaker)

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice pieces from falling back into the mold. Once removed from the mold, the ice pieces are then deposited into the ice bucket ready to be dispensed. If your ice maker is not making any ice you may need to replace this part. The part is white in color and is approximately 9-inch long. The ice stripper is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Magnetron

This magnetron in your microwave creates the radiation needed for cooking or warming your food. It is located inside the main cavity, typically near the transformer or waveguide. When the magnetron becomes defective, your food may not heat up properly or heat up at all. Additionally, buzzing or humming sounds may be noticeable while the microwave is in operation. With a malfunctioning magnetron, your microwave loses its primary function. To remove it, you first need to unplug your microwave from its outlet. Before touching any components, discharge the capacitor by placing a screwdriver, with an insulated handle, across the two terminals of the capacitor. Once the capacitor is discharged, replace the current magnetron by disconnecting it from any wires and removing any mounting screws or clips. This magnetron is sold individually and is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer.
