Lid latch assembly (Whirlpool washer lid switch assembly)

The point of the lid switch is for the tub to stop spinning when the washer lid is opened. It is a safety precaution just in case someone decides to stick their hand inside the washer while the tub is spinning.

Washing machine suspension rod kit (Whirlpool top load washer suspension rod kit, 4/pack)

Thrust spacer (Whirlpool washer agitator thrust washer)

This white thrust spacer is made of plastic and is also commonly referred to as a retainer ring. It is approximately 2 1/2-inch in diameter. The thrust spacer is used in the agitator assembly between the agitator and the auger. The thrust spacer supports the agitator auger as it moves. It is used in many direct drive washer machine models. If your washer will not agitate or is noisy, you may need to replace the thrust spacer. Please be sure to disconnect the power to your washer before starting your repair. You may need agitator grease for the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Seal, inner cap (Whirlpool washer inner cap seal)

Also known as an O-Ring. This black o-ring seal is three inches in diameter.

Screw, 8/18 x 3/8 (Whirlpool washer screw)

This screw is sold individually.

Lid bumper (Whirlpool washer lid bumper)

This single gray and white washer lid bumper contains a rubber bottom to help cushion the lid as it closes against the cabinet lid. If your bumper is missing you should replace the part to avoid metal on metal causing damage to the top of the washer. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Agitator cap barrier with seal (Whirlpool washer agitator cap)

The O-Ring is included with this cap. It can be purchased separately as Part #WPW10072840.

Washer drive pulley (Whirlpool washer clutch assembly)

This is a replacement clutch assembly or cam kit for your washer. The clutch assembly is mounted on the drive shaft on the bottom of your washer. You may need to replace the clutch assembly if the splines on the clutch assembly are stripped and the washer is making noise, or if you are having problems with the wash and spin cycles. You will need to access the bottom of the washer for this repair. It is easiest to if you disconnect your washer from both the water and power source, and lay it on its back. The clutch assembly contains 6 parts, and all are included with the kit. It is also important to change out the entire assembly, rather than individual pieces.

Drive belt (Whirlpool washer drive belt)

The main drive belt is designed to ride on the pulley until the basket gets up to speed.

Lid hinge mounting screw (Whirlpool washer screw)

Sold individually. NOTE: The color on the screw may not be the same as the image, but will still function the same.

D-shaped knob insert (clip, spring)

This insert is sold individually. Knob not included. Knob is sold separately.

Agitator cam kit (Whirlpool washer agitator repair kit)

This agitator cam kit contains an almost three inch white retainer and four agitator dog ears. This kit is used to move the upper agitator and it connects the base of the agitator with the agitator top (mover).

Lid hinge bearing (Whirlpool washer lid hinge bearing)

This is the bearing for the lid hinge. Sold individually.

Drive block 2 5/16 inch high (Whirlpool washer drive block)

This part is for large capacity belt drive and direct drive appliances.

Washer (Whirlpool top load washer tub bolt washer)

This part goes on the agitator retaining bolt.
