Light bulb - 40w (sub 0053437)

This part is the exterior replacement light bulb, with a small screw base, for your microwave. If your light bulb is burnt out, it will not be able to do this, and will need to be replaced. Before you change the bulb, be sure to check that the light socket still works, as it may need to be replaced as well. This bulb is 40 watts, is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part. Remember to disconnect the microwave from the power source before you begin this repair.

Light bulb - 120v 25w (lamp (oven/baseless))

This 25-watt, 120-volt light bulb is 2.5 inches long. It has a small, screw-in base and it is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Light bulb - 120v 30w (incandescent lamp)

This 30 watt 120 volt incandescent light bulb, with a small screw base is used to light up the surface below your microwave or brighten the interior of the microwave once the door has been opened. If your light bulb is burnt out it will need to be replaced. Before you change the bulb, be sure to check that the light socket still works, as it may need to be replaced as well. Remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before you begin this repair. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Micro switch

The microwave primary door switch, also known as a micro switch, is normally open. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, then the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. The micro switch is in the latch board section and monitors the position of the door. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W NOTE: Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged. It is suggested to have a service technician install the part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please disconnect the power to the microwave before beginning the repair.

Cooking tray (microwave turntable cooking tray)

This tray rotates in your microwave ensuring more even temperatures.

Light cover - clear (light lens cover)

Note: As per the manufacture the original cover was made with one hole, the part is now made with three holes.

Locker (microwave door latch hook 4026w2a015a)

The locker, or door latch assembly fits to the inside of the microwave door, and keeps the door closed. If the door on your microwave oven doesn’t appear to close properly, you may have a problem with the door latch assembly. This locker is made of plastic and measures 7 inches long x 2 inches wide. If either of the hooks is broken or does not have any spring tension, you may need to replace the assembly.

Air duct bracket (LG damper exhaust bracket)

This bracket holds the metal or plastic flapper that closes off the exhaust duct when the fan is not running and opens when the fan turns on. If the exhaust fan on your microwave does not appear to be working, the problem may be with the damper assembly. If the damper does not open and close easily, check for any damage to the bracket, and replace if it is damaged or faulty. This genuine OEM exhaust damper measures approximately 12 inches long by 5 inches wide.

Microwave surface light lens (cover,lamp)

This light bulb lens cover is made of high quality clear plastic, and fits over the bulb inside the microwave. This part has been redesigned with 3 mounting holes to improve quality. Please note that screws are not provided.

Micro switch

The interlock door switch, also known as a micro switch, will prevent the microwave from operating if the door is open. This switch has been updated by the manufacturer. It may appear different in appearance but will still function as the original part. This part has a green button and measures approximately a little over an inch long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.

Screw (sub 706189)

Ceramic fuse - 20 amp (sub m0805101)

The ceramic fuse protects the microwave by shutting it off if there is an electrical surge. If your microwave is not turning on, you may need to replace the fuse. This part is 20 amp, just over an inch long, metallic on both ends and ceramic in the middle. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your microwave before starting your repair.

Grease filter (filter, grease)

This part is the replacement grease filter for your microwave. It is metallic in color and is approximately 15 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The grease filter is found on the bottom of your microwave and traps grease from the exhaust air. The main reason to replace the grease filter would be if it is badly clogged, or if you notice a tear or some other damage to the filter itself. This part is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually.
