Overload relay combination (compressor start device)

This part is both the start relay and the overload. The start relay boosts the compressor, and then shuts off as soon as the motor gets up to speed and the overload provides extra protection against excessive temperatures.

Defrost timer - 120v 60hz (defrost timer assembly. Turn the dial on the timer clockwise to advance it into and out of defrost.)

If there is ice build-up in the freezer you may need to replace the defrost timer.

Handle end cap - chrome plated (chrome handle end cap)

This end cap is located on each end of the door handle. Sold individually. NOTE: Per manufacture the end cap is in a chrome plated with a dull finish.

Single hex head screw (screw 1/4" hex head, 10-12 x 1/2)

Sold individually. The size of this screw is 1/4" hex head and 10-12 x 1/2".

Ice stripper (ice stripper for icemaker)

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice pieces from falling back into the mold. Once removed from the mold, the ice pieces are then deposited into the ice bucket ready to be dispensed. If your ice maker is not making any ice you may need to replace this part. The part is white in color and is approximately 9-inch long. The ice stripper is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

Screw (screw, 8-18 x 5/8 hex-head slotted)

This screw is a little under an inch long and is made of metal. It is used with a refrigerator's ice maker assembly. Sold individually.

Water filter cover (cover-water filter)

This part is the replacement water filter cover for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 13 inches long and 4 inches wide at the widest point. The water filter cover protects the water filter from damage while it is installed in the refrigerator. The main reason to replace the water filter cover is if it is cracked, damaged, or missing. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Defrost/evaporator heater (defrost heater assembly)

The defrost heater is similar to the burners on an electric stove. It's located just beneath the cooling coils, which are concealed behind a panel in the freezer compartment. The heater gets hot. And, because it's close to the cooling coils, any ice or frost build-up melts.
