The refrigerator light switch turns the interior light off and on when you open or close the refrigerator door. The light switch also prevents the front dispenser from working if the refrigerator door is opened. If the switch has shorted out or the light bulb is not turning on when the door is open, you may need to replace the switch. This switch is white in color and measures approximately 1 1/2” L x 1 1/4” W. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.

Defrost control (defrost timer control, 4 individual wire connection. Turn the dial on the timer clockwise to advance it into and out of defrost.)

This 4-wire connection defrost timer acts like a clock, continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater. You can turn the dial on the defrost timer clockwise to advance it into and out of defrost mode. If the refrigerator is too warm, the freezer section is too warm, or the freezer is not defrosting, you might need to replace the defrost timer. This defrost timer is 120-volt, 60 Hz and genuine OEM part. Pleaser remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting the repair.
