Rear drum bearing kit (drum rear bearing and post kit, with hardware)

This rear drum bearing kit comes with a shaft, bearing and installation instructions. The bearing plate comes with a slot in it for the ground strap. Over time the drum bearing will wear out, once it has the dryer may make some noise and the drum bearing will need to be replaced. This kit will help keep your dryer running as smoothly as possible with as little noise as possible. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your appliance before starting your repair.

Gas igniter (gas dryer igniter, round style. The igniter uses heat to ignite the gas in the burner assembly. If the igniter is defective, the dryer will not heat.)

Be very careful to not handle the igniter by its gray part. Hold it by its white tip only.

Drive motor

Replaces "T" and "V" style motors. Includes two motor pulleys. If you have an older model dryer, the pulley may be pressed on or held on with a set screw. If pulley is pressed on, a new motor pulley must be ordered.

High limit thermostat (high limit thermostat, l258-50f)

With this high limit/safety thermostat, a dryer's heating element will cut out if the internal temperature reaches 260 degrees Fahrenheit. This element is meant as a safety device, will kick back in when the temperature drops to 210 degrees Fahrenheit. (Limit: 260-50)

Door switch (dryer door switch, 3-wire. Use the two smaller terminals for models with only two wires to the switch (no drum light).)

This part has three terminals. Note: Use the two smaller terminals for models that only have two wires to the switch.

Timer knob (timer knob, chrome and black, 1ea.)

This knob accepts a D-shaped shaft.

Multi rib belt - 4 ridges (dryer belt, length 99 1/8”, width 3/8”, characteristics, 4 ridges, flat)

This dryer drum belt goes around the dryer drum and the pulleys to rotate the drum once motor is activate.

Slide assembly (drum slide assembly, heavy-duty)

'k' series coils (gas valve 3 coil set with igniter bracket)

This 'K' series three-coil coil kit fits older model GE clothes dryers. It comes with the wiring harness and the igniter bracket.
