Nut (cap nut)

High limit thermostat - l315-65 (high-limit thermostat for dryer. L315-65. If the dryer overheats, this high-limit thermostat will cut off the power to the heating element.)

This part is the replacement high-limit thermostat or safety thermostat for your dryer. The high-limit thermostat is found on the upper right-hand side of the heater housing, and it cuts off power to the dryer motor if the temperature reaches an unsafe level. If you push the start button and nothing happens, the high-limit thermostat should be tested for continuity and replaced if the contacts are open. Be sure to disconnect power to the dryer before you begin this repair. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part.

Drive motor

Replaces "T" and "V" style motors. Includes two motor pulleys. If you have an older model dryer, the pulley may be pressed on or held on with a set screw. If pulley is pressed on, a new motor pulley must be ordered.

Drum baffle

This is the replacement drum baffle for your dryer. It is made of black plastic and is approximately 14 inches by 4 inches. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. The drum baffle is found inside the dryer drum, and it helps tumble your clothes. If the baffle is damaged or missing, you may notice marks being left on your clothes. The main reason you would replace the baffle is if you notice these marks, if the baffle is broken, or keeps falling off.

Safety thermostat (high-limit thermostat, l210-30. Note: Watch the part testing video to determine if thermostat is defective.)

This is considered a high limit thermostat. Rating - L210 This thermostat acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. Once the dryer temperature reaches a certain point, this piece will shut down power to the heating element.

Bearing retainer (bearing retainer plate with slot for ground strap)

There is a slot in it for a ground strap.
