Door catch

This is a genuine dryer door catch replacement. This is the part that catches and holds the strike on the door of your appliance. The catch and the strike work together to ensure the door remains closed during the drying cycle. This is just the catch, if you need a new strike as well, it is sold separately.

Latch hook

The latch hook is a metal part that helps to keep your appliance's door shut while it is in operation. When you close the door, it works in conjunction with the door catch to hold the door in place. However, it can break or get warped or bent over time, so that it is no longer a perfect fit for the door catch. If your dryer door is prone to popping open, it could be because the strike has become loose.

Thermistor (thermistor assembly)

This part controls the temperature of the inside of the dryer drum and prevents the dryer from overheating.
