Fine filter

This filter sits at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Fine filter hub nut

This is the replacement fine filter hub nut for your dishwasher. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. The fine filter hub nut is also known as the lower spray arm hub nut, and it connects the lower spray arm to the hub. If the hub nut breaks, it can cause the spray arm to wobble during operation and this can result in a strange noise. To replace this part, first remove the spray arm by turning it counter clockwise, then do the same with the hub nut. Install the new hub nut by turning it counter clockwise, then replace the lower spray arm. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part from the manufacturer.

Upper spray arm bearing (use geh wd01x10209)

This is the upper spray arm bearing for your dishwasher. The spray arm fits onto the spray arm bearing, which allows it to spin during the cycle. If your dishwasher is not cleaning dishes properly, or is making a lot of noise during operation, it could be the result of a damaged spray arm bearing. This part is made of white plastic and is approximately 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. This part is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part from the manufacturer.

Short bottom door seal (use geh wd08x10075)

Check valve flapper (use geh wd01x10175)

This part allows the water to flow in the drain direction only and prevents the dirty water from coming back into the tub.

Inlet sump

This works in conjunction with the pump and filtration system. It is used to receive drainage for disposal.

Lower spray arm bearing

This part is a replacement lower spray arm bearing for your dishwasher. It is made of gray plastic and is approximately ½ inch in diameter. The spray arm bearing reduces friction and allows the spray arm to rotate during the operating cycle. If the spray arm is not rotating or cleaning dishes properly, or the dishwasher is noisy during operation, you may need to replace the spray arm bearing. This is a bearing for the middle spray arm, which is mounted to the bottom of the upper dish rack. The bearing is made of metal and is approximately one inch in diameter. Drain hose

This drain hose is an OEM, manufacturer-approved replacement part for your dishwasher. The drain hose filters out the wastewater from the dishwasher. If there is a hole in it, water will leak out of your dishwasher. Shut off the water and power to the unit before beginning this repair. Accessing the drain hose involves unscrewing the dishwasher and pulling it out. Remove the clamp holding the hose in place to its connection under the sink, using a 5/16ths socket. Disconnect the fill line. Use a 1/4 inch nut driver to loosen the clamp at the other end of the drain hose. Keep a towel handy for any water still inside. Keep the clamps for use on your new drain hose. Reinstall all hoses and lines in reverse order.

Main conduit (use geh wd12x10057)

Also known as Upper Wash Supply Tube. This part brings water from your main water line the wash arms.

Drain pump

The drain pump ejects the water from the dishwasher.

Rack adj assembly upper (upper dishrack with wheels)

This part includes the wheels. This part may differ in appearance or color but will function the same as the original.

Retainer handle - black (handle retainer)

This part is the replacement retainer handle for your dishwasher. It is made of black plastic and is approximately 5 ½ inches long and 2 inches wide. The handle retainer attaches to the handle of your dishwasher and holds the door closed during operation. If your dishwasher experiences a door latch failure, you may need to replace the retainer handle. Be sure to disconnect your dishwasher from the power source before you begin this repair. Sump filter and cover (inlet cover)

This works in conjunction with the pump and filtration system. It is used to filter the drainage for disposal.

Latch handle

This part is the replacement latch handle for your dishwasher. It is made of black plastic and is approximately 5 inches by 1 inch. The latch handle is what allows you to open and lock the dishwasher door. If the latch handle is broken, you may not be able to open the door properly, and if the dishwasher door doesn't lock properly, the dishwasher will not be able to run.
