Micro switch

The microwave primary door switch, also known as a micro switch, is normally open. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, then the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. The micro switch is in the latch board section and monitors the position of the door. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W NOTE: Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged. It is suggested to have a service technician install the part. This is a genuine OEM part. Please disconnect the power to the microwave before beginning the repair.

Micro switch (switch,micro)

The interlock door switch, also known as a micro switch, will prevent the microwave from operating if the door is open. This switch has been updated by the manufacturer. It may appear different in appearance but will still function as the original part. This part has a green button and measures approximately a little over an inch long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.

Door interlock switch kit (switch)

The door interlock switch kit contains 2 switches - 15 Amp - 125/250 Volt with 3/16-inch terminals. The switches are used to sense when the microwave door is open or closed. If your microwave will not start, or will not turn on, you may need to replace these switches. This is a genuine OEM kit. Please remember to disconnect the power to your microwave before starting the repair. PLEASE NOTE: The door interlock switch kit includes 2 single pole, double throw (SPDT) micro switches. As per the manufacture for the secondary interlock switch order part # 56001100.

Fuse,time delay

This line fuse protects the microwave by shutting down if there is an electrical surge. If your microwave is not turning on, you may need to replace the fuse. This part is just over an inch long, metallic on both ends and white ceramic in the middle. Please remember to disconnect power to your microwave before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

This screw is for microwaves. A qualified technician should install this part if it requires accessing internal components of the microwave or microwave door. High-voltage capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged, and door shielding components should be tested for leaks after all door repairs. This screw is sold individually.
