This is a replacement ice maker assembly. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and will freeze until ice cubes are formed. Once the water has been frozen the cubes will be ejected from the mold in to the ice bucket. The ice maker will continue the process until the ice bucket has reached the limit. If your ice maker is not making ice you may need to replace this part. Disconnect the power and water supply before starting your repair. This ice maker is a genuine OEM part. NOTE: This part has been updated by the manufacturer and does not include the cover, ice level arm or the wire harness. You can reuse those from the original ice maker.

Light bulb - 40w (40 watt frosted appliance light bulb.)

This 40-watt light bulb has a standard screw-in base. It is used in many different appliances. If your current bulb is burnt out or broken you will need to replace it. This light bulb is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Capacitor (compressor run capacitor)

The run capacitor is attached to the compressor. This part helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature to keep things frozen in your freezer. If your refrigerator is too warm, will not start, or your freezer section is too warm, you may need to replace this part. This is a genuine OEM part. This defrost timer will cycle for twenty-one minutes after every ten hours of run time. The defrost timer acts like a clock. It continually advances and alternates between activating the cooling cycle and the defrost heater.

Cycling thermostat (thermostat for modular icemaker, with new clips)

The ice maker thermostat, also known as bi-metal device, regulates and controls the activation of the icemaker ejection cycle. The thermostat lets the ice maker know when it is cold enough to produce ice. If your ice maker is not making ice or not dispensing ice, you may need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part and comes with two retaining clips. Please remember to disconnect power to your refrigerator before starting your repair.

The evaporator fan motor circulates air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated. This part is 115 volts, has a 3/16th-inch shaft and is just over three inches long. It is made of both metal and plastic, and is made up of black, white, and metallic pieces. This evaporator fan motor is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your appliance before starting the repair.

Defrost thermostat (defrost thermostat with wires, l40-25)

This refrigerator defrost thermostat will cut out at 40 degrees Fahrenheit and kick back when the temperature drops to 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

Double outlet water valve kit (dual water inlet valve kit)

This double outlet water valve has a treaded outlet connection, and comes with all of the necessary screws, fittings, and brackets needed to make this valve compatible.

Crisper drawer shelf support

This crisper drawer shelf support is used for many refrigerators. It is all white in color and is made entirely of plastic. This shelf support is less than an inch long.

This is an OEM part that is made of metal and sold individually. The leveling leg is generally used with refrigerators, dryers, freezers, ranges, cooktops, and microwaves. The leveling leg is meant to keep your appliance steady and level to the floor. If you notice your appliance is uneven to the floor it may need to have the leveling leg replaced. You will notice that the bottom of the leveling leg has a smooth surface to ensure moving your appliance does not require as much effort. This part screws into a pre-drilled hole underneath the appliance.
