Secondary door switch (switch, monitor)

The secondary door switch, also known as a micro switch, works in conjunction with your microwave by monitoring the door latch position and sending communication to the electronic control board to let it know if the latch is open or closed. When the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, the switch has failed, and the part will need to be replaced. You can test the switch for continuity. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W. Due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge, even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. Please disconnect power to the microwave before beginning the repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Cooking tray (tray-cooking)

This glass tray rotates in your microwave ensuring more even temperatures.

Primary door interlock switch (switch micro)

This interlock switch is located in the door latch.

Monitor door switch (switch-micro)

The door interlock switch (normally closed) works in conjunction with your microwave operation. The switch will prohibit the microwave from starting when the microwave door is open. If your microwave won’t turn on or there is no heat you may need to replace the switch. This part measures 1.5” L x .75” W, 250 volts, is black in color with a red dot and is sold individually. Please remember to disconnect the power before starting your repair. This is a genuine OEM part.

Turntable guide with rollers (roller guide ring)

This roller guide sits underneath the glass turntable tray.

Diode (diode-h.V ass'y)

This part allows power to go one way only.

Rectangle glass tray (shelf oven)

This magnetron uses electrical and magnetic currents in order to create an intense heat output.
