Primary door interlock switch (micro switch, 2 terminal)

This interlock switch is located in the door latch.

Plastic rivet (rivet assy,all)

This part is the replacement plastic rivet, or stirrer fan cover clip for your microwave. It is made of white plastic and is approximately ¼ inch in diameter, and ½ inch long. The plastic rivet holds the fan cover to the inside of the microwave. The main reason to replace the rivet, is if your current rivet is broken or missing, and the fan cover will not stay in place. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

The interlock door switch, also known as a micro switch, will prevent the microwave from operating if the door is open. This switch has been updated by the manufacturer. It may appear different in appearance but will still function as the original part. This part has a green button and measures approximately a little over an inch long. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the microwave before starting the repair.

This part is the replacement high-voltage diode for your microwave. It is approximately 3 inches long and is sold individually. The high voltage diode is an electrical current control device inside your microwave. Be sure to disconnect power to the microwave, and use extreme caution when completing this repair, as microwaves can still retain an electrical charge even when unplugged. Light bulb - 125v 20w (lamp)

This part is the replacement light bulb for your microwave. This bulb is 125 volts and 25 watts. It should come on automatically when you open your microwave door, or if the microwave is running. If your light bulb is burnt out, it will not be able to do this, and will need to be replaced. Before you change the bulb, be sure to check that the light socket still works, as it may need to be replaced as well. This microwave micro switch is normally open and when the door is shut, the door switch will close to send power to the microwave to operate. If the microwave won’t start, then the switch has failed and will need to be replaced. The micro switch is in the latch board section and due to the high voltage capacitor in the microwave, it can retain a lethal electrical charge. Even when unplugged, it is suggested to have a service technician install the part. This is a genuine OEM part.
