Worm following gear (worm gear)

The follower gear works in conjunction with the worm gear and is part of the gear system that powers the mixer. If the mixer is making noises and not mixing you may need to replace this gear. This is a genuine OEM manufacturer-approved gear, used in stand mixers. Please remember to disconnect the power to the mixer before starting the repair.

Retaining ring (clip, retaining)

The retaining clip goes onto the end of the roller axle and holds the drum roller on to the axle. If the ring is broken or damaged, you will need to replace it. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Hub gear (gear, hub)

Includes both the attachment and beveled gear. This worm follower gear is for stand mixers. Worm follower gear meshes with the worm gear, causing the rotation of the planetary assembly where the accessories attached. Unplug the mixer before installing this part.
