The hinge bushing is used in conjunction with the opening and closing of the refrigerator/freezer door. This 13-volt evaporator fan motor helps circulate air over the refrigerator coils. These coils will then convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated from the freezer section to the fresh food section. If the fresh food section is too warm or the motor has failed, you will need to replace the evaporator fan motor. It is suggested to replace the thermistor when replacing the evaporator fan. The fan motor is in the freezer section of the refrigerator, and includes the harness and plug. Please remember to disconnect the power to the refrigerator before starting your repair. Compressor

This part must be installed by a licensed and trained LG technician that is able to perform a software update, which is required for the installation of this compressor. Part number CJT30000002 is needed to perform the update. Also, the three pins on the side of the new compressor may be oriented differently than the original. If different, when installing the new compressor the compressor electrical connector must be rotated 45 degrees counter-clockwise.

This part is the replacement push switch for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and is sold individually. The door switch turns the light on and off when you open the door, and it is also a safety mechanism that doesn’t allow the auger motor to come on and dispense ice when the door is open. To remove the switch, simply pry it out of position with a small flat head screwdriver, then disconnect the wires. Reconnect the wires to a new switch and snap it into place. Be sure to connect the wires to the switch in the correct order. This part is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
