This dryer drum belt has four ridges, three grooves, 1/4-inch wide and 92 1/4-inch long. The belt helps rotate the drum. If the drum does not rotate and you can still hear the motor running, the belt may have broken and will need to be replaced. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your dryer before starting the repair.

Door catch kit (dryer door catch kit. This kit includes three different door catches; you will need to select the door catch that fits your model.)

This door catch kit contains two door strikes and three door catches to service dryer doors that have one or two catches. Make sure to read the instructions to determine which one to use for your model. These parts keep the dryer door closed to allow the dryer to operate. Heating element (dryer heating element assembly, 240 volts. If the dryer does not heat check for a blown themal fuse or thermal cut out.)

The drum glide helps the front drum rotate smoothly and quietly while operating. If your dryer won’t tumble or is noisy, the glide could be worn down, causing a metal on metal noise. In this case it will need to be replaced. It is recommended to replace both glides at the same time and two is required for the dryer. The drum glide is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually. Drive motor with pulley

This drive motor operates the dryer by turning the drive belt which spins the drum and will fit most Whirlpool incorporated dryer brands before 1996. If the motor has shorted out, it will no longer turn the drum and will need to be replaced. The drive motor includes the pulley that is not available separately. This is a genuine OEM part. The blower wheel is a squirrel cage type wheel whose purpose is to move the air through the room or appliance. The blower wheel spins on the motor shaft to blow air through the dryer drum and out through the exhaust.

Lid switch (dryer door/washer lid switch kit)

The door switch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the dryer from operating when the door is open. The dryer cannot operate until the door switch signals that the door is closed. If your dryer will not start or the switch shorted out, your washer will not operate and the switch will need to be replaced. This switch is a genuine OEM part. Cycling thermostat - limit 135/155 (adjustable dryer cycling thermostat kit l135-155. The cycling thermostat cycles the heat on and off to regulate the air temperature.)

Cycling themostats continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature within the dryer. This particular cycling thermostat can be adjusted between 135 and 155 degrees Fahrenheit. The differential of this thermostat is 20 degrees, meaning that with this thermostat, the heating element will cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 20 degrees.
