Top burner igniter

This top burner igniter has a male spade terminal. It is used to create a spark that will light the gas and start the burner when the burner knob is depressed and turned. The mounting bracket is included with the igniter. If your element will not heat, will not start, or the gas igniter glows but will not light, you may need to replace the igniter. Burner head cap with spark electrode (sub 12500050)

This black burner head with the spark electrode helps distribute flame evenly to your cookware. If your burner no longer ignites or the burner head is cracked it will need to be replaced. When removing the failed burner head, rotate it counter clockwise to release the burner from your cooktop. Please note the manufacturer has updated the burner head and in the newer version, the gasket seal is no longer required. This is a genuine OEM part.
