Heating element - 240v 5400w (dryer heating element)

This 240V/5400W heating element is strung with a coiled wire made of a nickel and a chrome alloy. This wire receives, but resists, a controlled electric current, causing the wire to heat up. The heat produced is used to dry the clothes in your dryer. If the dryer has no heat, takes too long to dry, or the heating element burns out, the heating element will need to be replaced since it cannot be repaired. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting your repair.

Dryer cycling thermostat (dryer operating thermostat)

The cycling thermostat with an internal bias heater will continually cycle the heating element off and on to maintain a constant inner temperature in the dryer. This cycling thermostat has a limit of 155 degrees Fahrenheit and a differential of 25 degrees. Meaning that the heating element will cut out at 155 degrees and cycle back on once the internal temperature drops by 25 degrees. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

Dryer high limit thermostat (dryer high-limit thermostat)

The three-terminal high-limit thermostat with a terminal extension arm acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. When the dryer temperature reaches 221 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostat will shut off power to the heating element until it drops by 80 degrees Fahrenheit. If your dryer has no heat, takes too long to dry or the thermostat has shorted out, you will need to replace the thermostat. This is a genuine OEM part. Drive motor with pulley (dryer drive motor)

This drive motor operates the dryer by turning the drive belt which spins the drum and will fit most Whirlpool incorporated dryer brands before 1996. If the motor has shorted out, it will no longer turn the drum and will need to be replaced. The drive motor includes the pulley that is not available separately. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to your dryer before starting the repair.

Leveling foot (dryer leveling leg)

The adjustable leveling leg is used to support and keep your dryer level. It also allows you to adjust the height of your dryer. You may need to replace the leveling leg if one becomes lost, the thread is stripped off, or it is noisy during operation. The leveling leg is almost 2” long, white in color, and made of plastic. There are four leveling legs used on the dryer, please order quantity needed as they are sold individually. This is a genuine OEM part.

Roller support tri-ring (dryer tri-ring retainer)

The tri ring is used to hold the drum support rollers or the idler pulley onto the shaft. If your dryer will not tumble or is noisy, you may need to replace the tri ring. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold individually.

Dryer lint screen filter (dryer lint screen)

The lint filter with handle is used to collect lint and debris as it passes through the dryer vent. It is recommended to clean the lint filter before every load. If your dryer takes too long to dry you may need to replace the filter. This lint filter includes a white handle and measures approximately 23 inches including the handle. This is a genuine OEM part.

This 18 ml bottle of white appliance touch-up paint is used to cover scratches or marks on your appliance. Please remember to wear gloves to protect your hands when applying this paint.
